The Day of the Conference Details
1. At the gate to the Arboretum, please say that you came to attend the Adler Academy conference – your entrance fee is waived.
2. The conference will be held in the Fireplace Room of the Snyder Building – you will see the signs within the building. Go here to check-in and get your name tag.
3. On the date of the conference, with any very last-minute concerns, please call Marina (see your email dated 9/27/23 or your printed conference packet when at the event). Once the conference starts, we will not be responding to emails for obvious reasons. 🙂
4. Please know your professional license number – we will ask you to write it down during check-in.
5. We will have a working lunch, and the arboretum has many wonderful walking paths – make sure you have comfortable shoes, umbrellas in case it rains, etc). Of course, you may decide to stay indoors 🙂
6. We will have breakfast and registration at 8:30, and the conference will start at 9 AM. We will have lunch for you at 12 Noon and some mid-afternoon snacks at about 2:30 PM. The conference will end at 4 PM.
7. We will raffle a few nice items (no additional fees) – to add excitement to the day.
8. There will be individual and large group weaving activities – if you can, please bring yarn or other weaving fabric (torn fabric/textile), newsprint, “weavable” organic materials to use. No worries if you don’t have anything (and our out-of-town attendees, please don’t worry too).
